Guillermo Alvarado, 67, of Wauchula, passed away at Florida Hospital in Wauchula on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Mr. Alvarado was born in Saginaw, Michigan on June 25, 1945. He had been a resident of Hardee County most of his life. He worked as a laborer in the citrus groves, and was Catholic.
Survivors include four sons, Bacilio, Guillermo, Jr. of Bowling Green, Nicholas, and Thomas of Wauchula; one daughter, Teresa Alvarado of Lakeland; five brothers, Alejandro of Wauchula, Domingo of Harlingen, Texas, Valentine of Texas, Moncie of Bowling Green, and Natolio of Texas; one sister, Maria of Texas; and 22 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 2-3 p.m. Funeral Services are at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Wendell G. Smith officiating. Burial follows at the First Baptist Church of Zolfo Springs Cemetery.
