Harold Loyd Seymore, 96, of Arcadia, passed away at DeSoto Health and Rehab on Saturday, December 2, 2017. He was born in Monticello, Arkansas on April 11, 1921. Mr. Seymore came to Arcadia from Maryland in 1987. He was a member of Nocatee Methodist Church and the Moose Lodge. He also enjoyed playing shuffleboard and softball and was a carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his son, Harold L. Seymore, II, sisters, Geneva McConnell and Maxine Mills. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Jessie Seymore of Arcadia; 2 daughters, Lois Williams (Bob) and Roxann Pilkerton (Arthur), all of Maryland; 2 brothers, Max L. Seymore (Mary) of Lakeland, FL and Bobby R. Seymore (Evelyn) of CT; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Maryland.
