Helen Marie Potter, 74, of Wauchula, passed away on May 24, 2011 in Sebring. She was born on Nov. 5, 1936 in Tin Sin, China. She moved to Hardee County from Michigan in 1984. She was a member of the Missionary Church and had been employed by the Health Department as a nurse.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Harry Potter of Wauchula; three sons, Tomothy Potter of Hanover, Michigan, Philip Potter of Peck, Michigan, and David Potter of Lakeland, Florida; one daughter, Deborah Potter of Goshen, Indiana; two sisters, Carol Trachsel and Joy May, of West Virginia; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Her Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18th in the Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Wauchula. Rev. Tim Davis will officiate.
