Eddie Herman Spencer, born on August 19, 1953, in Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on August 15, 2023. He was a resident of Hardee County for 30 years, having moved from Charleston, West Virginia. Eddie was a devoted member of the New Vision Worship Center and found joy in his work as an oiler in the mining industry at Mosaic. He had a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed the freedom of the open road.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Delice Spencer, son David Spencer, brothers Edward (Buck) Spencer, Mark Webb, and Scott Webb; sister Emma Spencer Young; and sister-in-laws Kathy Spencer and Nancy Webb.
He is survived by Shirley Webb who took over as mom when his parents passed. his loving wife, Barbara Spencer, sons Robert Spencer (Sara), and Charles Paussi, step-daughters Gwendolyn Wade (Richard), Brandy Matthews (Jessica), and April Lagro, God-daughter Jennifer Sosa (Albert), brothers Brady Spencer, Charles Webb (Diana), and Michael Webb. Grandchildren Story Spencer, Macayla Spencer, Jacob Spencer, Joshua Spencer, Alberto Sosa, Tyler Sosa, Jasmine Sosa and great-grandson Greyson.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation, which will be held at New Vision Worship Center on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. followed by services officiated by Pastor Rod Cannon.

Eddie Herman Spencer will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his faith, and his adventurous spirit. May he rest in peace, knowing he has touched the lives of many.
