Irene Garappolo, 78, of Sebring, passed away at Good Shepherd Hospice on December 7, 2012. She was born on July 21, 1934 in Manhattan, New York.
Irene is remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and as someone with a great sense of humor that could make everyone in the room laugh. She had a long career in the William Floyd School District on Long Island before retiring to Port St. Lucie and eventually to Sebring. She treasured her family and will be greatly missed by her sons, Alfred and Joseph Garappolo; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and her many friends.
Irene's wishes were that her and her husband Frank's ashes be spread on the beach in the company of her entire family.
