Iris E. Fields, 96, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 in her home surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Linton, Iowa on November 11, 1923 and was a resident of Hardee most of her life. Iris was Lutheran by faith and a member of Peace Valley Lutheran Church. She has been a Lutheran since she was a teenager.
Iris married the love of her life at age 19 on August 8, 1942 in Worthington, Minnesota.

She is preceded in death by her parents Guy Ivan Dunaway and Mahulda E. Fisher Dunaway. Her loving husband Floyd Fields; daughter, Barbara Fields and son, Dennis Fields.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Fields, Phillip Fields and Mark Fields; 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 14 great great granchildren.

A visitation will be held at Peace Valley Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 1:30 pm. Funeral services will begin 2:30 pm at Peace Valley Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Wauchula Cemetery.
