Ivory Lee Martin, 87, a resident of Hardee County for over sixty years, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Pinebrook Center in Venice. She was born in Hayville, Alabama on April 16, 1926. She was a migrant worker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Martin, sons, Calvin and Dennis Martin, daughters, Marie and Loralee Martin, and grandson, Calvin Martin, Jr.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Martin of Venice and Roy Martin of Malone; two daughters, RoseMary Cochran of Englewood and Becky Martin of Michigan; one sister, Polly Noblet of Bowling Green; two half-sisters, Rita Faye Anderson of Muskegon, Michigan and Carolyn Gann of Ravenden, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren, Christina Duffey, Lewis Cochran, Lori Otis, James Martin, Lewis Martin, Linda Rogers, Kathy Lee Martin, Robert Hill, Lewis Wolf, Mary Alice Worrell, Danielle Martin, Shirley Cochran, Dorraine Martin, and Justin Martin; and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Robarts Garden Chapel, with Funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Interment is in New Hope Cemetery.
