It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Jack William Geckler, 54, of Wauchula, on Monday, November 11, 2013. He brought light and joy to the lives of everyone he touched and had the rare gift of finding the best in everyone. His unique sense of humor, love of storytelling and contagious laughter will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving wife Gina; beloved son Maxten; step-sons Tyler Belflower and Isaac Vasquez; mother Donna Geckler Solod; his siblings, twin sister Leslei Monast and husband Will, brother Kurt Geckler and wife Jennifer, sister Mary Lee Joseph and husband David; in-laws, Jeannie and Wayne Jernigan, Bill and Beth Jernigan, and many nieces and nephews who adored him beyond words.

Memorial services will be held at First Baptist Church of Wauchula Student Ministry, "The Rock" (1720 W. Main St.) at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013. Please join us as we celebrate his life.
