James quietly took his rest on Thursday, July 25, he was 95 years young
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lucille of 50 years in
marriage, and his grandson Gregory.
He served in the Army as a Corporal in the Korean War from 1948-1952
and was a Purple Heart Recipient.
He worked as a truck driver for many years and after retirement he
repaired and maintained small engines and computers. He believed
in staying active as the secret to longevity, he always said: "Don't
worry about the things you cannot control, Do what you can with the
things that are within your power"
James is survived by his daughter Anna, and his son Charles, his daughter
-n-law Belinda and his nephew Tom, his grandchildren Karen and
Gary also his great-grandchildren Michael and Devin along with
grand nephews and nieces and their children.
Our sincerest gratitude to the Bay Pines CAC and Hospice unit for their
care, love, and skilled nursing, and to the Doctors and Social Workers
for everything, Thank You for your Service!
