James "Blue" Mendenhall's Obituary
James "Blue" Mendenhall, 71, of Bowling Green, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 in Auburndale. He was born in Darby, Pennsylvania on April 1, 1945 and came to Hardee County 20 years ago from Pennsylvania. Blue served in the U.S. Navy and had been employed as a truck mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Merritt of Bowling Green; father and step-mother, James H. Mendenhall, II and Marie of Pennsylvania; son, Robert Lord and wife Terry of Stuart; daughter, Karen Roe of Lakeland; and step-brother, Bob Patterson and wife Terry of Pennsylvania.
