James Allen Timmons left the troubles of this world. Our Heavenly Father completed his mansion on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 2:20 pm. In his mansion, James can be found working on his golf swing, perfecting his cast under the mangroves, tending the heavenly gardens, and doing all things Cowboy. But most of all, he is worshiping at the feet of Jesus! In His glory, James has joined his parents, Edward Loyce and Maggie Lee (Walker)Timmons, and his first born son, James Allen Timmons Jr., "Jason".
On this Earth, James was a lifelong resident of Wauchula and a true Florida Cowboy. James retired after 35 years as an Agricultural Inspector with the State of Florida. But if you knew him, you know that James never truly retired. James spent his days running his nursery, Countryside Growers, tending his cows, and hunting his dogs. He also loved to spend time fishing with his family and friends. His newest hobby was to share all of these life experiences with his only grandson, his pride and joy.
James is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 45 years, Pamela Timmons; His son, Justin Timmons and wife Sarah, grandson James Allen Timmons III "Trip" and granddaughter to to be, of Avon Park. He also left behind many brothers: Thumper and Colleen Timmons of Bowling Green, FL; Kenny and Melanie Hall of Biloxi, MS; Joel and Carissa Timmons of Sebring, FL; Danny and Karen Timmons of Wauchula, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
"... Although we love him dearly,
We could not make him stay,
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best,
Although his heart stopped beating,
His love will always remain,
His absence puts upon our hearts,
A very heavy strain,
For now he is in a place of everlasting rest,
We just have to understand that God,
He only takes the best."
