James Williamson, 91 years young went to his heavenly home on March 7, 2023, in the presence of his family. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Mable Taylor Williamson; son Walter Williamson and wife Janice of Wauchula, FL.; daughter Susan Williamson of Bowling Green, FL.; grandsons Justin Williamson and wife Tracy of Orlando, FL., and Daniel Williamson of Tampa, FL., brothers Howard Williamson of Bowling Green, FL., Roy Williamson of Bowling Green, FL., and Jerry Williamson of North Carolina. James is preceded in death by both of his parents Charlie Pink and Minnie (Davis) Williamson; brothers Henderson Williamson, and Walter Monroe Williamson, sisters Mary Lou Revell, Lola Mae Shiver, Maxine Motes, and Ruda Lee Williamson. James proudly served our country while in the Army, he is a Veteran of the Korean War and spent time stationed in Germany. He was a heavy equipment operator by trade working at the Phosphate Mines and a member of Fort Green Baptist Church. James enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time in his private workshop where he spent many, many happy hours. James loved his family dearly, cherished his loving wife Mable, and loved his dear little sidekick, Ebony. A Memorial Service will be held at Fort Green Baptist Church on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 11:00 A.M.
