Janet Lou Spear, 88 of Hardee County died Thursday January 11, 2018 in Sarasota, Fl. She was born in Springfield, OH., July 28, 1929. Janet was a resident of Hardee County since 1985 coming from Sarasota, Fl.

Janet was a member of Union Baptist Church in Lily. She loved her Jesus and was a prayer warrior.
She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who will be deeply missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl S. Clark and Clarice Clark.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years John J. Spear of Ona, Sons Jim Spear of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jackie Spear of Bowling Green and Jay Spear of Sarasota, Florida. Daughter Jody Hand of Ona, brother David Clark of Myakka City, Florida and sister Betty Yoder of Springfield Ohio. Along with five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Lily Cemetery Saturday, January 27, at 12:00
Reverend Scott Waldron will be officiating the service.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and fellowship at Jody Hands home following graveside services.
