Janice Maria James, affectionately known as Maria, age 54, passed away quietly at home on Sunday, August 10th, 2025. Born in Charlotte, NC, on August 27, 1970, she is proceeded in death by her parents, Jessie and Bonnie James of Wauchula, and is survived by her daughter, Laura (Ismael) Hernandez, three grandchildren (Kai, Nova, and Leo), and three sisters: Ana Collom Blair (Mike), Mary Brown (Bobby), and Bonnie Martinez. Maria also had many nieces and nephews and cousins who loved her dearly. The family will gather and celebrate Maria's life in late August. The family appreciates your prayers during this time.
