Jeanette Wood Merritt, age 63, of Bowling Green, Florida passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016. She was born in Hazel Hurst, Georgia on August 9, 1953, moving to Hardee County in 1961. Jeanette attended Assembly of Life and Church of God, also she worked as a laborer in a Packing Ware House. Jeanette is preceded in death by parents Father Maurice Foster Wood, Mother Alice Lynn, and Son Jesse Franklin Merritt. She leaves behind Daughter's Tabitha Merritt of Lakeland, Florida, Daphne Marie Merritt of Auburndale, Florida, Brother's Daniel Wood of Lyons, Georgia, Sister's Martha Willis of Uvalda, Georgia, Linda Albritton of Bowling Green, Florida, Annette Swite of Wauchula, Florida, Barbara Thiel of Uvalda, Georgia, and Gerrell Patsouracus of Avon Park, Florida, Grandchildren, Tyler Merritt, David Archer, Kimberly Archer, Christy Merritt, Katie Welch, Justin Merritt, Hunter Merritt, Great Grandchildren, Logan Smith, Lilly Verschage, and Braelynn Merritt. Services will be at 12:00 p.m. at Fort Green Baptist on Saturday, August 20, 2016.
