Jerry Spurgeon Hutto, 77, of Wauchula, Fl. passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. He was born in Dothan, Alabama on May 20, 1940, and remained a resident of Hardee County for most of his life. Jerry proudly served in the Us Army National Guard retiring with the rank of E-7 Sergeant First Class. He also retired as a supervisor of the Hardee County Landfill.
He attended both First Christian Church of Wauchula and Cornerstone Church of God Fort Meade.
He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Hutto of Wauchula, Fl. Daughters Joy Roberts and husband Robert of Wauchula, Fl. And Candi Larner and husband Mark of Wauchula, FL. Grandchildren Kara Lucas and husband Chris, Dylan Roberts, Cade Roberts and Jay Keen wife Mandy. Great grandchildren T.J. Lucas, Landon Lucas, Kelsey Keen, and Collin Keen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at First Christian Church in Wauchula, with Pastors Darin Canary, Philip Williams, and Chris Muse officiating. Burial with military honors provided by American Legion Post #2 is in Friendship Cemetery.
