Jerry D. Johnson from Bowling Green, Fl. was greeted by His Heavenly Father on May 4, 2024.
He was born in Bradenton, Fl. on April 13, 1954. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Johnson, Jr and Barbara Starn Johnson, and sisters, Jesse Johnson Herzog and Judy Johnson. He moved from Bradenton, Fl to Bowling Green, Fl in 1975. He is survived by his loving wife Jacki of 53 years, as well as, his brothers Jack Johnson and Jay (Peggy) Johnson.

His legacy continues through his children, daughter Amy and husband Scott Bryan, daughter Michelle and husband Shawn Durrance, son Weston and wife Kimberlyn Johnson. Jerry has nine grandchildren that he loved, Laina Durrance, Seth Durrance (Karson), Kara Durrance, Kaden Bryan, Linsey Bryan, Bentlee Johnson, Peyton Johnson, Tobias and Scarlet Johnson, adopted granddaughter, Brianna Medrano.

Jerry was a self-employed, proud business owner of Johns On Wheels until he retired. Jerry loved spending time with his family, spending time at the shop with his buddies, fishing the waters with friends, and soaking up the beauty of the mornings on the back porch with his wife.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to "THE GATHERING", a student-led ministry at Hardee Junior High. Please make donations payable addressed to Hardee Junior High 2405 US HWY 17 N, Wauchula, Fl. 33873 with "THE GATHERING" in the memo.

There will be no services. The family welcomed family and friends in their home on Sunday and Monday for loved ones to pay their respects.
