Jesus Garza, 89, passed away on July 3, 2026 in Highlands County, Florida. He was born on December 25, 1936 in Mercedes, Texas to Margarito Garza and Antonia Rodriguez Garza. After moving to Hardee County in 1956, he spent his life working in the Agriculture industry.Jesus was a member of Temple of Faith Church in Zolfo Springs.

He is preceded in death by both parents, his first wife Maria Garza, as well as his son Jessie Garza Jr. He is survived by a large loving family including his wife Irene Cruz Garza of Wauchula, Florida; his sons Johnny and Jose Garza both of Wauchula, Florida; his daughter Vera Moralez (Eliud) of Wauchula Florida; his siblings Lupe Rosales, Carmen Vasquez, David Garza, Josephine DeLeon, Mary Garza, Margarett Patino, Delia Byers, Gloria Moscarro, Alice Cisneros, Joe Garza, and Freddy Garza all of Wauchula, Florida; his grandchildren Ryan Garza, Andrew Garza, Lacey Garza, Stephanie Arreola, Valerie Thompson, Sarah Mayer, Jacob Montgomery, Celeste Posey, Isaac Garza, Victoria Garza, Isis Garza, Denise Garza, Darleny,,step-daughters Jordi, Estrella, and Mirasol. His great-grandchildren, Dustin Garza, Destiny Garza, Thalia Sanchez, Tatianna Sanchez, Faith Arreola, Christian Arreola, Austin Arreola, Baleigh Eades, William Terrell, Weston Terrell, Ethan Mayer, Natalie Gamez, Asher Montgomery, Arli Montgomery, Piper Posey, Genesis Garza, Ethan Garza, Annalise Garza, Noe, Svith, Esther, and Elias "Titi".

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Robarts Garden Chapel, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am officiated by Pastor Robert Rodriguez, burial at Wauchula Cemetery.
