Jimmy H. Forrister, 66, of Bowling Green, passed away at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring on Friday, April 13, 2012. Jimmy was born in Lost Cain, Arkansas on February 5, 1946. He had been a Bowling Green resident since 1952. He built chain-link fences, and formerly worked for Bright Hour Ranch in Arcadia.
Survivors include two daughters, Kolleena Forrister of Arkansas and Michelle Dearman of Oklahoma; one brother, John Forrister of Barstow, Texas; three sisters, Mildred Bush of Bowling Green, Gertrude Smith of Zolfo Springs, and Estelle Salmon of Memphis, Tennessee; and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Robarts Garden Chapel. Chaplain Jim Langham will officiate. Interment is in Bowling Green Cemetery.
