Jimmy J Giles

Jimmy J. Giles, 77, of Wauchula, passed away at Florida Hospital Wauchula on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. He was born in Myrtle, Mississippi on November 7, 1937. Jimmy became a resident of Hardee County in 1981, coming from Indiana. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Fort Meade, and had been the owner of a construction company.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Giles and a son, Jimmy Lyn Giles. Survivors include one son, Jeff Giles of Wauchula; two daughters, Rebecca Talley of Wauchula, and Ashley Whidden of Wauchula; five sisters, Glenda Slates, Martha Giles, and Donia Arnold, all of Tennessee, and Betty McNiel and Kay Giles, both of Texas; six grandchildren, James E. Fox, Jr., Mary E. and Jared Talley, Brittany, Kody, and Kory Giles; and two great-grandchildren, Hannah Whidden and Cassandra Rios.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with funeral services at 11:00 AM. Rev. Harold Howze is officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
