Joel Sanchez, 59, of Wauchula, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in Tampa, Fl. . He was born in Sinton, Texas on October 8, 1957.Joel moved to Hardee County in 1968 coming from Immokalee, Fl.He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wauchula. He worked as a produce clerk for Kash & Karry and Wal-Mart.
He was preceded in Death: by Father Juan Sanchez, and his brother Juan Sanchez Jr. Survivors include his mother Felicitas Sanchez of Wauchula; wife, Debra Sanchez of Wauchula; 1 son, Master Sgt Geoffrey Gagnon and Wife Master Sgt Christina of the United States Air Force, Enid OK; 2 daughters, Lori Jean Molina (Raul) of Wauchula, and Dr. Regina Bailey (Christopher) of Toccoa, GA; 3 sisters, Josephine Alcantar (Juan) of Lehigh Acres, Lydia Gallegos (Pedro) of Wauchula, Elida Perez of Wauchula; several Nieces and Nephews; and 8 Grandchildren, Alexis Gagnon of Wauchula, Aimee Torres of Wauchula, Nikolas James Molina of Wauchula, Ayden Bailey of Toccoa, Ga. Cianna Bailey of Toccoa, Ga. Asher Bailey of Toccoa GA, Isabel Gagnon of Enid OK and Noble Gagnon of Enid OK.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 in the chapel of the First Baptist Church of Wauchula from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM; services begin at 11:00 AM. Reverend Joe Butler is officiating.
