Jon Lynn Hendry. Sr, 60, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday,
October 23. 2023. Jon was born on May 17, 1963, to James L. Hendry, Sr., and Mary Ann Raulerson Hendry in Tampa, Florida. They later moved to Bowling Green, Florida where Jon and his siblings were raised and attended school. Jon worked for PIKE Electric, working with a crew that became his work family and support system when working away from home.
Jon is preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Mary Ann Hendry. He is survived by his wife Tracy Holloway Hendry and their blended family of 6 children, Heather (Robert) Flores, Jon (Nicole) Hendry Jr., Jerrod (Shannon) Hendry, Amanda (Cortez) Hamilton, Allyson (Tyson) Bowen, and Julie (David Godinho) Hendry along with their 15 beloved grandchildren, his siblings James (K.C.) Hendry Jr., Joni (Hillrey Murphy) Coker, Jama (Lester) Vickery, Jerry (Linda Pilgrim) Hendry and his sibling-in-laws Michael (Kami) Higbee, Brian (Crystal) Higbee, Sherry (Scott) Peer, Erick (Lauren) Blue, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Impact Church, 1201 Burns Avenue in Lake Wales, Florida officiated by Pastor Walter Nelson followed by a repass luncheon at the Circle of Friends Building located at 333 Lime Avenue, Lake Wales, Florida.
