Jonathan Jimenez-Hernandez, 18, of Zolfo Springs, FL passed away on January 12th, 2020. He was born on January 11th, 2002 in Sarasota, FL to Hilario Jimenez Santiago and Silvia Hernandez Bautista. He was a lifetime member of the Zolfo Springs community and of the Iglesia de Dios Alfa y Omega in Wauchula, FL.
In his free time, Jonathan loved to grill for his family, spend time with his friends, play video games, and volunteer with his church. He always had a friendly smile to offer and never met a stranger and was beloved by all he met.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Aurelio Hernandez Bautista.
Jonathan is survived by his parents; his three sisters: Esmeralda Jimenez and Jennifer (Marcial) of Zolfo Springs, FL, and Yeseni Jimenez of Mexico; his paternal grandparents, Juan Jimenez Cortez and Jacinta Lopez Santiago; his maternal grandmother, Victoria Bautista Velasco; one nephew; and many friends.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020 at the Iglesia de Dios Alfa y Omega, 1909 Stansfield Ave, Wauchula, Fl, 33873. A funeral will follow at 11:00 PM officiated by Pastor Daniel Jimenez, and interment will take place at Zolfo Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
