Jorja Drake, 74, passed away on June 23, 2026 in Wauchula, Florida. She was born on May 23, 1952 to George Taylor and Betty Louden Taylor in Indianapolis, Indiana. She moved to Hardee County from Davie, Florida in 1970, Jorja was a secretary by trade and christian by faith.

She is preceded in death by both parents, her sister Terry Thompson, and her daughter Jennifer Allen. Jorja is survived by her husband John "Jed" Drake of Wauchula, Florida; her son Tyrone Roman of Wauchula, Florida; her sisters Jene Bellis of Dixon, Texas, and Kathy Morgan of Macon, Georgia; and her grandson Cain Roman.

A celebration of life will be held at the Real Life Church of Bowling Green, Florida at 2:00pm on July 12, 2026. services will be officiated by Pastor Mike Graham.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or Alpha + Omega Ministries.
