Jose "Carlos" Martinez, 43, of Zolfo Springs, Florida passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Carlos was born on October 9, 1979, in Bartow, Florida to Jose Martinez and Erlinda Windham and has been a lifelong resident of Hardee County. Carlos was Catholic by faith and an equipment operator by trade, his family was his greatest achievement. He is preceded in death by his mother Erlinda Windham. Carlos is survived by his father Jose Martinez of Zolfo Springs, FL.; son Jose Carlos Martinez Jr. of Houston, MS.; daughters Alyssa Martinez of Alabama, and Carla Martinez of Brandon, FL.; brother Joel "Joey" Windham of Wauchula, FL.; sisters Joanna Rodriguez (Pete) of Brandon, FL., Flora Estella Alvarado (Steven) of Zolfo Springs, FL., and Rosie Galan (Tony) of Hendersonville, NC.; and granddaughter Emma Martinez of Houston, MS. A Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Robarts Garden Chapel, followed by Funeral Services at 3:00 P.M. Father Wilner will be officiating.
