Josephine Satterfield 96, of Zolfo Springs, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022. She was a lifelong resident of Hardee County born October 11, 1925, in Wauchula, Florida to John and Annie Thompson. Josephine was a secretary by trade working in the agriculture field, her favorite pastime was fishing, Baptist by faith, and attending First Baptist Church of Zolfo Springs, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Anne Thompson. Josephine is survived by her loving husband James B. Satterfield Sr.; son James B. Satterfield Jr.; daughter Barbara (Satterfield) Reigle; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held in First Baptist Church of Zolfo Springs, Florida Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. followed by Funeral Services at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
