Josie Garcia Cerna, 62, a resident of Hardee County for most of her life passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Advent Health Sebring. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 16, 1958. Josie was a homemaker and Pentecostal by faith she was a member of Templo La Hermosa Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Elvira Garcia.

Survivors include her loving husband, Eradio Cerna of Wauchula, Fl.;, sons, Andrew Cerna (Jessica Centano) of Wauchula, Fl.; Robert Cerna (Cindy Granados) of Wauchula, Fl.; Eradio Cerna Jr. (Cindy) of Bowling Green. Fl.; daughters, Cindy Cerna of Wauchula, Fl.; Sara Cerna (Pedro Guerro) of Bowling Green, Fl.; Ann Cerna of Wauchula, Fl.; brothers, Andres Garcia (Lydia) of Wauchula, Fl.; Manuel Garcia (Concepcion) of Wauchula, Fl.; Armando Garcia (Brenda) of Wauchula, Fl.; Alberto Garcia of Wauchula, Fl.; Alejandro Garcia of Wauchula, Fl.; Amado Garcia of Wauchula, Fl.; Robert Garcia of Wauchula, Fl.; Tommy Garcia (Allison) of Zolfo Springs, Fl.; Johnnie Garcia (Melissa) of Wauchula, Fl.; sister in law, Mary Banda (Pedro) of Bowling Green, Fl.; 6 grandchildren, Angelina Cerna, David Peter Guerro, Andrew Briar Cerna, April Grace Cerna, Samuel Isaac Guerro and Camilla Anne Guerro.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Robarts Garden Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in the Robarts Garden Chapel. Pastor Terry Estrada will be officiating. Interment will take place at Wauchula Cemetery.
