Joyce (Jo) M. May went home to be with her savior on May 29th, 2015. At the time of her passing she was at home surrounded by her loving family and the caring staff of Good Shepherd Hospice. Jo was born October 25th, 1951. She was a resident of Sebring since 1982 where she lived with her husband of 44 years, Jerry May. Jo was preceded in death by her father Audie McDaniel. She is survived by her husband Jerry; Daughters Katie (Casey) Carter of Avon Park, Kelly (Ashley) Simpson of Orlando; Her pride and joy grandchildren Natalie, Hunter, Hannah and Caleb; Mother Bethel McDaniel of Wauchula and sister Beth (Burche) Hodgman of Sebring. Jo worked in the banking industry for more than 40 years and retired as a Customer Service Supervisor at Highland Independent Bank.

Visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel in Wauchula on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM, with funeral services the following day at Northside Baptist Church in Wauchula at 10:30 AM. Rev. Mitch Landress will officiate. Interment is in Wauchula Cemetery.
