Juan Sanchez, Jr., 54, of Bowling Green, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 16, 2014. He was born in Sinton, Texas on December 7, 1959 and been a resident of Hardee County since 1968, coming from Texas. Juan was a concrete worker in construction and was Catholic.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Sanchez. Survivors include his mother, Felicitas Sanchez; son, Juan Sanchez, III of Bowling Green; daughter, Sofia Lynn Sanchez of Bowling Green; brother, Joel Sanchez and wife Debbie of Wauchula; sisters, Josefina Alcantar and husband Juan of Immokalee, Lydia Gallegos and husband Pedro of Wauchula, and Elida Perez of Wauchula; granddaughter, Gabriela Torres; and twelve nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 4:00-5:00 p.m., with funeral services at 5:00 p.m. Antonio Montalvo will be officiating.
