Judith Michele Cox, 61, of Wauchula, passed away at Florida Hospital Wauchula on April 8, 2014.
She was born in Missouri on July 26, 1952 and had been a resident of Hardee County for nine years, coming from Muncie, Indiana. Judith had been employed as a paralegal, and was also a former secretary at the First United Methodist Church of Wauchula. She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Maria Bartels. Survivors include her husband, Timothy Cox of Wauchula; 2 sons, Gary Bartels of Muncie, Indiana and John Bartels and wife Ananya of Indianapolis, Indiana; 6 daughters, Elana Turner and husband Dirk of Madison, Indiana, Meredith Jester and husband Tonny, Heather Bartels and husband Bobby, and Dee Bartels and husband Rick, all of Muncie, Indiana, DeAnn Cox of Tennessee, and Tammi Lacy and husband Jason of Anderson, Indiana; 25 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers-in-law; 3 sisters-in-law; and several great nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
