Julia Vasquez Martinez, 72, of Avon Park, passed away at Summer's Hospice House on Friday, November 29, 2019. She was born in Carillo Springs, Texas on April 19, 1947. Julia had been a resident of Hardee since 1964 coming from Texas. She was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. Julia worked for the mines as a heavy equipment operator.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Vallejo Vasquez and Elvira Rodriguez Vasquez as well as a sister Gloria Serda Aguilar.

Survivors include her sons, Angelo Luiz Martinez of Ona, Fl; Jessie Vasquez Martinez of Wauchula, Fl; daughters, Amalia Martinez Sandoval of Avon Park, Fl; Josephina Martinez Novo of Brandon, Fl; Elvira Martinez of Wauchula, Fl; brothers, Jose Daniel Flores Jr. of Texas; Rudy Flores of Texas; Johnny Flores of Florida; Elvis Flores of Texas; Rogelio Flores of Avon Park, Fl; sister, Elizbeth Flores Gonzales of Texas; As well as 17 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.



A memorial mass will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church Friday, December 13, 2019 at 3:00pm.
