Kellie Jo Hays Bergens, 57, of Zolfo Springs, Florida passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Advent Health Orlando. She was born in Wauchula, Florida on December 4, 1962. Kellie worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Highlands Regional Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Lee Hays and Florence Marie Hays.

Survivors include her loving husband, Thomas Bergens of Zolfo Springs, Fl; son, T.J. Bergens (Samantha) of Orlando, Fl; daughter, Kristin Bergens of Oviedo, Fl; nephew, Sean Burgess of Hortense, Georgia; brother, Steve Metheny of Jacksonville, Fl; sister, Sherry Burgess of Hortense, Georgia; brother in law, Glenn Bergens (Raina) of Zolfo Springs, Fl; brother in law, Harold Bergens (Margie) Nocatee, Fl; sister in law, Barbra Norris (Ed) of Arcadia, Fl; As well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00p.m. in the Robarts Garden Chapel. A funeral will follow on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 3:00 pm in the Robarts Garden Chapel. Mr. Mark Baucom will be officiating. Interment will be at Wauchula Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her parents.
