Kenny Weis, 64, of Wauchula, died on Feb. 15, 2011 at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Kenny was born in Bowling Green on Dec. 16, 1946 and was a lifelong resident of Hardee County. He served in the U.S. Army, had been a technician with United Telephone Company and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Wauchula.
Survivors include his wife Janet of Wauchula; son, Preston Weis of Orlando; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Chris Albritton of Cocoa; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and LaDonna Weis, and David and Louise Weis, all of Wauchula; grandchildren, Deacon and Logan Weis, and Reagan Albritton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 20th at 3:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Wauchula with Rev. Doug Stanfield and Rev. Danielle Upton officiating. Visitation will be prior to services, from 2-3 p.m. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #2.
