Leonardo Gomez-Arrez 77, of Wauchula, Florida passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Leonardo was born on December 6, 1945, in Morelia, Michoacán Mexico to Tomas Gomez-Ruiz and Juana Andrea Arrez. He has been a resident of Hardee County for most of his life, Catholic by faith, and an Independent Rancher by trade. Leonardo is preceded in death by both of his parents, brothers Saluco Gomez-Arrez, Ramiro Gomez-Arrez, Armando Gomez-Arrez, Agustin Gomez-Arrez, and Eugenio Gomez-Arrez, and sisters Imelda Gomez-Arrez, and Graciela Gomez-Arrez. He is survived by his loving wife Juvenia Gomez of Wauchula, FL.; sons Tomas Gomez (Antonia) of Wauchula, FL., Mario Gomez (Bella) of Wauchula, FL., and Jose Gomez (Liberty) of Wauchula, FL.; daughter Esmerelda Gonzales (Jose) of Wauchula, FL.; sisters Gloria Gomez-Arrez, and Maria Elena Gomez-Arrez; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held at Ranchito Gomez 1593 Old Bradenton Rd. Wauchula, Florida Friday, May 19, 2023, from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 P.M. Father Wilner Durosier will be officiating. The interment will take place at Ranchito Gomez.
