Leslie Sue Bond, born June 26, 1957, in Denver, Colorado, to Charles and Shirley Harpole, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024, in Lake Wales, Florida. She was 67 years old. Leslie dedicated her professional life to serving as a program manager for the state of Florida, a role that allowed her to make a positive impact in her community. She moved to Hardee County in 1970, where she became a beloved member of the community and built a life filled with love and purpose. Leslie is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Shirley Harpole. She is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Bond, of Wauchula, Florida; her sons, Charles Bond (Aysa) of Arcadia, Florida, and Scott Bond (Kristina) of Wauchula, Florida; her daughter, Robin Torres (Aris) of Tampa, Florida; her sister, Lois Roberts of Wauchula, Florida; and her cherished 10 grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. Leslie will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering support for her family, and her commitment to her work. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
