Leta Jean Roberts, 56, of Zolfo Springs, passed away in Sebring on October 28, 2011. Mrs. Roberts moved to Hardee County from Louisiana seven years ago. She was a Baptist and a pipe fitter foreman.
She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Isaac Chambers and a sister, Diane Webb. Survivors include her husband, Marcus Roberts of Zolfo Springs; mother, Norma Rea Roberts of Columbia, LA; one son, Marion "Bo" Ainsworth of LA; three daughters, Alisha Baum and Christi Ainsworth, both of Louisiana and Dawn Peton of Wauchula; two step-sons, Marcus Roberts Jr. of Sebring and Johnny Roberts of Lithia-Pinecrest; one step-daughter, Nikki Stevens of Bowling Green; one brother, Samuel Isaac Chambers, Jr. of Columbia, LA; and 19 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 31st from 7-9 p.m. at Robarts Garden Chapel with Funeral services at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Garden Chapel. Rev. Mitch Landress will officiate. Burial is in Oak Grove Cemetery.
