Linda Velez Arredondo, 65, of Wauchula, Florida, passed away on October 22, 2025, in Wauchula, Fl., She was born on May 15, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas, to Frank J. Velez Sr. and Alicia S. Sanchez.


A longtime member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Linda moved to Hardee County in 1999 and served the community as a secretary of the Deans Offiice at Hardee High School, where she was known for her kindness, professionalism, and dedication to students and staff. Her faith and family were central to her life, and she will be remembered for her warm spirit and generous heart.


Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jesse Aguilar, her daughter Rebecca Ann Aguilar, and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, Librado D. Arredondo; daughter Casey Arredondo, Son In-Law Christian Macias; grandchildren Erica Aguilar, Natali Aguilar, Aubriann Arredondo, Nikolas and Dallas Macias; great-grandson Lucas Parsons; four brothers; six sisters; brothers- and sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends who will miss her dearly.


A Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 29, 2025 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Her funeral services will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church Thursday October 30, 2025 10:00 A.M. Internment will take place at Zolfo Springs Baptist Cemetery.
