Linda Joanne Grimes, 54, of Wauchula, passed away at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland on Sunday, June 23, 2019. She was born on January 5, 1965 in Wauchula and had been a lifelong resident of Hardee County. She was employed as a corrections officer at Hardee Correctional.

Survivors include her mother, Betty Lee Grimes of Zolfo Springs; companion, Tim Bonney of Wauchula; one son, Daniel Richardson of Middleburg, Florida; one daughter, Samantha Lane (Joseph Herrin) of Middleburg, Florida; one brother, Lamar Gross (Mona) of Wauchula; two sisters, Yvonne Floyd (Charlie) of Wauchula, Gayle Gainous (Dusty Young) of Zolfo Springs; eight grandchildren, Kylie Lane, Elizabeth Lane, Madelyn Lane, Danna Richardson, Daniel Richardson, Jr., Luke Richardson, Abigail Richardson, Addilyn Richardson; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 10:00 Am until 11:00 AM at Robarts Garden Chapel. Funeral services are at 11:00 AM.
