Linda Gail Strickland, 61, of Wauchula, passed away at her home on Thursday, October 4, 2018. She was born in Wauchula on June 21, 1957 and had been a Hardee County resident all of her life. She was a member of Bayside Community Church and was an ESE Tutor with the Hardee County School Board.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Strickland of Wauchula; father, Raymond King of Sebring; mother, Maggie Hargrove of Wauchula; one son, Lewis Martin of Ona; two daughters, Learie Rogers of Wauchula and Coleen Gottloeb of Glenville, North Carolina; niece, Michelle King of Wauchula, along with many other nieces and nephews; three brothers, Michael King of Wauchula, Cliff King of Wauchula, and Gerald King of Lakeland; one sister, Judy Capp of Sebring; and five grandchildren, Jordan Rogers, Lexi Martin, Jake Gottloeb, Sydnie Martinez, and Lucas Martinez.

Funeral Services will be held at Bayside Community Church in Wauchula on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 3:30 P.M. with Pastor Willie Gilliard officiating. Burial is in Wauchula Cemetery. There will not be a public visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hilltop Elementary ESE Department to be earmarked for field trips.
