Lois Marie (Conley) Ledger, 81, a native of Hardee County, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Resthaven, with Good Shephard Hospice at her side. She was born March 8, 1929 in Hardee County, and was a wonderful person in life. She was a waitress at Dashers Drug Store back in the forties, and was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Kenny Ledger and Virl Coker, parents Mr. and Mrs. Charley Conley, brothers, Clyde Conley, Charles Conley, and Keith Conley, great-granddaughter, Auslinn Hickey, niece, Gwenna Revell and nephew, Danny Smith.
Survivors include one son, Randy Coker (Betty) of Atlantic City, NJ; two daughters, Gay Coker Hickey (Richard) of Dunnellon, FL, and Leslie M. Ledger of Homosassa, FL; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson; two sisters, Anna Smith (Walter) of Bowling Green; and Oneita Revell (F. L.) of Wauchula; one brother, Preston J. Conley (Naomi) of New Port Richey, FL; two sisters-in-law, Audrey Conley and Claudie Conley, both of Wauchula; 11 nieces and 5 nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 17th at Robarts Garden Chapel, followed by services at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Robert Murphy and Rev. Albert Blum will officiate. Interment is in Fountains Memorial Park in Homosassa.
