Lorraine Ruth Staton "Lori", 69, of Wauchula, passed away at AdventHealth Wauchula on Thursday morning, August 1, 2019. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on May 21, 1950. Lori had lived in Hardee County most of her life, coming from "all parts" as her family was in the military. She was employed at Zolfo Elementary School as the cafeteria manager.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Boyd Roberts, Sr.; son, Brian Keith Staton; brothers, John Boyd Roberts, Jr. and Carl Lee Roberts; and a granddaughter, Analynn Lorraine Sanders. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Arnold Staton of Wauchula; mother, Lucille Grace Roberts of Hardee County; two daughters, Denise Sanders (Scott) of Wauchula and Danin Cimmino of Virginia; one brother, Robert Ray Roberts (Joy) of Hardee County; one sister, Bonny Sue Horton of Hardee County; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Robarts Garden Chapel at 11:00 A.M. Visitation is from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Rev. Jim Harris will officiate.
