Louise Judith Fugate, 82, passed away on April 11th, 2026, in Lake Wales, Florida. She was born November 30th, 1943 in Hardee County, Florida to Elijah Richardson and Etta Farrell Richardson. A lifelong resident of Hardee County, she worked as an LPN at the Hardee County Jail

She is preceded in death by her parents Elijah Richardson and Etta Farrell, her husband William R. Fugate III, and her daughter Etta Malone. She is survived by her son William R. Fugate IV of Zolfo Springs, Florida, her daughters Barbara Mosely and Leona Nickerson of Wauchula, Florida, Gwendolyn Christian of Sebring, Florida, and Judy Brown and her husband Mark of Jay, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
