Lucille G. Roberts, 97, of Wauchula, Florida passed away on Monday, March 21, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 9, 1926, in Rahway, New Jersey to Wilfred and Grace (McKinnon) Holland. Lucille has been a resident of Hardee County since 1945, she was Christian by faith and spent her days raising and caring for her family. She is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband John Boyd Roberts Sr.; sons John Boyd Roberts Jr., and Carl Lee Roberts; daughter Lorraine Staton; sisters Jean Holland Frank, Claire Holland Deverin, and Myrna Holland Anderson. Lucille is survived by her son Robert Ray Roberts (Joy); daughter Bonny Horton (Scott); son-in-law Arnold Staton; daughter-in-law Brenda Roberts;11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 3:00-4:00 P.M. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 P.M. Robert Roberts will be officiating.
