Lucy Dianne Vickers Moye 3/31/1954 - 4/23/24 Lucy Moye passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in Sebring, Florida. She was born in Tampa, Florida on March 31, 1954.

Lucy was the only child of the late Robert James (RJ) Vickers and Doris Elizabeth Vickers. She grew up in Homeland, Florida often spending much of her time with neighborhood friends and cousins or at her dad's church. Lucy lost her mother at the young age of 7 years old and was very close with her dad.

She was happily married to Carrol E. Moye for nearly 49 years. They settled in Wauchula, Florida where they raised their children. Lucy was a homemaker and school bus driver for many years, retiring after her children were grown. After retirement, she loved being close to her grandkids and helped to take care of them in any way needed.

Lucy was a Christian and attended church at Florida's First Assembly of God. Lucy was lovingly devoted to her family and enjoyed gardening, especially flowers. She also had a special love for animals of all kinds and was often known to have some unusual pets through the years. Being adopted, Lucy also enjoyed genealogy and had met many relatives from her biological family.

She is survived by her husband, Carrol, and children Greg (and Katie) Moye, and Ashley (and Josh) Johnson. Lucy especially loved her 4 grandchildren, Brady Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Ella Moye, and Gentry Moye. She is also survived by three half-sisters, Becky Carlisle, Margie Sharp, and Johnnie Williamson.
A Visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 P.M. with Funeral Services starting at 2:00 P.M. Mr. Bobby Buckley will be officiating. Interment will take place at Paynes Creek Cemetery.
