Luis Gomez, 54, of Bowling Green, passed away on August 7, 2012 in Wauchula. Luis was born in Saginaw, Michigan on June 16, 1958 and had lived most of his life in Hardee County. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and was employed by Central Pump and Irrigation in Wauchula.
He is survived by his mother, Ninfa C. Gomez of Bowling Green; two sons, Luis Guadalupe Gomez, Jr. of Georgia, and Hector Gomez; three brothers, Pedro Gomez of Bowling Green, Delfino Gomez, Jr. of South Carolina, and Enrique Andres Gomez of Bowling Green; five sisters, Concepcion Gomez of Bowling Green, Irma Gomez of Bowling Green, Oralia Gomez of Fort Meade, Victoria Jones of Mississippi, and Emma Gomez of Georgia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Robarts Garden Chapel. Funeral Mass is Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Carlos officiating. Burial is in Bowling Green Cemetery.
