Manuela Garcia Mendiola, 73, of Gainesville, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 6:32 AM at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. Born in Mexico on May 11, 1947, she had lived in Zolfo Springs, FL most of her life, prior to moving to Gainesville, GA two years ago.

She leaves behind many who loved her dearly, including five sons, Roman Mendiola of Monterray, Mexico, Priciliano and Margaret Mendiola of Zolfo Springs, FL, Nicolas Jr. and Michelle Mendiola of Cades, SC, Eustacio and Angelia Mendiola of Scranton, SC, J. Natividad Mendiola of Monterray, Mexico; four daughters, Delia and Valentine Castro of Gainesville, GA, Sally and Marty Newman of Effingham, SC, Sandy and Gilbert Chapa of Pitts, GA, Angie Mendiola of Athens, GA. She was also blessed with 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandkids.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Robarts Garden Chapel. Visitation is from 10AM until service time. Pastor Jeff Fowler will officiate. Interment is in Wauchula Cemetery.
