Manuela Valencia, 96, of Wauchula passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019, in her home in Wauchula. She was born in Jesus Maria Jalisco, Mexico. Manuela was a resident of Hardee County since 1971 coming from Texas. She was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. Manuela worked as a laborer as a profession.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Silviano Gutierrez and Marie Canderaria Gutierrez and her husband Agustin Valencia.

She is survived by her sons, Javier (Reynalda) of Michigan; Juan (Helena) of Texas; Hipolito Valencia of Michigan; daughter, Marcela Valencia of Wauchula; As well as 17 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 6 pm to 8 pm. A Catholic mass will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at St. Michaels Catholic Church at 9:45 am. Interment will be Wauchula Cemetery.
