Margaret L. (Chancey) Ward, October 13, 1938-September 6, 2024. Margaret Ward left this world to be with her Savior on September 6, 2024. She is survived by her sons Ernest Whidden (Cheryl), John Whidden Sr. (Bonnie), and Vernon Whidden, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Margaret was a lifelong resident of Hardee County. She drove a school bus for Hardee County for over 25 years. She loved her job, and the children that she transported. She loved fishing and being outside. She loved her family and always put them first and foremost. A Memorial Service will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 1 PM. In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Lewy body dementia association at www.lbda.org
