Margrene M. Lampley, 72, of Wauchula, died May 27, 2010 at Florida Hospital. She was born on May 8, 1938 in Gulf County, Fla. and came to Hardee County from Trenton, Fla. in 1959. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and had been employed as a supervisor with G. Pierce Wood Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Huey Lee Lampley and Willie Munn, Jr., and a daughter, Shirley Ann Munn. Survivors include her daughter, Floretta McGee (James, Sr.) of Wauchula; brothers, L. J. (Marie) Lane of Trenton and Charles Lane of Immokalee; sister, Claretha Wilson of Wauchula; grandson, James McGee, Jr.; nephews, Lloyd, Holt, and Wilner Wilson, Aaron Daniels, Jr. Johnny Luna Jr.; nieces, Brandi and Shanique Outley, Ayanna Daniels, Saniah White; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 4th from 6-8 p.m. at Robarts Garden Chapel. Funeral services are at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5th at the New Mt. Zion AME Church with burial in Magnolia Manor Cemetery. Pastor Ben Daniels will officiate.
