Maria Patino Cervantes, 68, passed away on May 1, 2025, in Tampa, Florida Maria was born September 5, 1956, in Edinburg, Texas to Refugio Patino and Maria Rodriguez Patino. She was a resident of Hardee County for most of her life coming from Texas. She was Catholic by Faith attending Saint Michael Catholic Church and worked at the elementary school. She is preceeded in death by both of her parents and one brother. Maria is survived by her spouse Joaquin Morales of Wauchula, Florida her sons Juan Francisco Cervantes of Tennessee and Adrian Cervantes (Marissa) and Wauchula, Florida daughters Maria Isabell Cervantes of Wauchula, Florida, Idalia Cervantes (Rigoberto Montanez) of Wauchula, Florida and Marta Elena Cervantes (Adan Vargas Rivera) of Wauchula, Florida, as well as three brothers, six sisters, seventeen grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 6 to 8 PM with a Funeral mass at Saint Michael's Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Bowling Green city cemetery following funeral mass.
